ARTIST STATEMENT:   "Abstraction to me is one of the purest art forms.  It comes from deep within the artist's soul."

ARTIST BIO;    After spending years in the corporate world, Carrie Lee Allbritton returned to her first love with a passion and dedicated herself to making art through painting.  Allbritton has spent years studing arty and the use of color through studies with international and national instructors.  Basically self taught, she has surrounded herself with the influences of the masters of abstraction/non-objective fine art.  Her work reflects her passion for life and love of our planet.  Each of her paintings is created with the intent of capturing the mysteries of our lives.  She was born in Houston, Texas and now lives just north of Houston.

With a growing list of dedicated collectors, Carrie Lee follows her own intuition to create canvases of remarkable sophistication and importance.  From the beginning, the use of pure intense color will direct and motivate the artist.  At some point, her experience, technique and intuition will take over to bring the canvas to fruition.  She prefers the fas, expressionistic strokes, occasionally working collage and "found" objects into the painting.  The artist succeeds in the expression of mystery, exuberance, elusiveness and sophistication into which each viewer brings his/her own realities.

Allbritton's work has been represented and shown at many trade show around the country, including New York, Dallas, Las Vegas and the prestigious High Point North Carolina show.  She is a true professional dedicated to creating fine abstraction art, and sharing it with the world.
