Artist Statement: Through her art June Russell seeks to capture the wonders of nature's images and share the powerful emotions and visceral feelings she experiences.
Artist Bio: My inspiration comes from nature. When I walk through a forest, hike in the mountains or meditate by a peaceful lake,
I am inspired to create something beautiful . So often we pass through this life and miss the amazing wonders that surround us.
My heart and eyes are drawn to nature's most vivid colors. Combining my passion for photography with the natural world has become my journey of the spirit.
June Russell attained as BS in Chemistry, and MBA and ABD in Organization Behavior. She has worked as a technical trouble shooter and sales representative; a management consultant in productivity improvement and interpersonal relationships; an adjunct professor in Organization Behavior at two universities; and a professional musician playing piano, guitar and singing.
Always a busy person, June began her studies in photography. She went on several photo expeditions to some of the most striking natural settings in word.

She is a member of Women in the Visual and Literary Arts, is on the Advisory Board, and was on the board of directors for four years. She uses a digital SLR camera, so she can use different lenses to achieve the image she wants. Some photos are printed precisely as they were taken, others she may use Aperture and Photoshop to crop, paint or enhance the image. Her most recent work, natural Beauties, presents flowers in abstraction.
All her fine art photographs are archival inkjet prints. Each one is available in assorted sizes. Please call for quotes.
