"Very early on art has revealed itself to me as a wild beast that I have only been able to dominate on occasion to steal away some images during its brief and unexpected rest. My inspiration is based primarily on personal experiences I have had since I came to know my Savior. I believe that every moment brings with it the inspiration for a new work of art. For this reason, the transition from one series to another shows a completely different theme. Every piece is unique, just like every experience in our lives. At times I sense that the painting wants to paint itself and all I have to do is allow myself to be guided. It is my desire that at the end of my life every painting will show that I was able to faithfully follow my guide and that God will rejoice in seeing how through them, others learn to follow Him."
